Thinkering Studio - Portfolio Directions & Rubric

Directions for Reflections & Meta-Reflections

  • Type 1-2 paragraphs reflecting on a favorite/best project
  • Make sure to describe your project, imagine you are describing it to a parent/guardian. You can describe the project itself and/or your work.
  • Make sure to describe 2 or 3 big takeaways (level 2 or 3 reflections) from the project. Yes, you could use a prompt to help you think about this.
  • Type 1-2 paragraphs meta-reflecting on a favorite/best reflection (remove highlight colors after copy/pasting)
  • Type 1-2 paragraphs reflecting on your most helpful/thoughtful peer critique
  • Grammar and spelling count will count for your final but not for your draft
  • Get someone to proof read it for content, spelling, and grammar (Its easy for me to tell through the history who took the time to do this)
  • Make sure the links to your favorite/best project page works and that your project page uses the Project Page template
  • Due Friday - draft for completion credit
  • Due Monday - final revised reflections (worth 10% of final grade)
